Stephen J. Natoli Esq.

Stephen J. Natoli maintains a practice encompassing the representation of governmental entities and criminal litigation in federal and state courts throughout New Jersey.

Mr. Natoli serves as Enforcement Counsel to the Hudson County Improvement Authority and has previously served as General Counsel to the Secaucus Housing Authority and as Special Counsel to the Bayonne Housing Authority. His public-sector practice includes matters involving governance, procurement, personnel, regulatory compliance, constitutional issues, enforcement proceedings, and related litigation.

Mr. Natoli also maintains an active federal and state criminal practice. Before entering private practice, he served as an Assistant Prosecutor in Hudson County. He now represents individuals and businesses in investigations and prosecutions involving white-collar offenses, fraud, money laundering, bribery, public corruption, tax offenses, racketeering, narcotics, weapons offenses, violent crimes, and other serious criminal matters.

Mr. Natoli is a member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel for the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, through which he is appointed to represent defendants in federal criminal matters.

He regularly appears in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the New Jersey Superior Court, and municipal courts throughout the State. He has tried matters to favorable verdicts in federal, state, and municipal court and has successfully represented clients before the New Jersey Appellate Division.

Mr. Natoli also represents property owners and management companies in Hudson and Essex Counties in litigation, regulatory, and enforcement matters.

Mr. Natoli received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2012 and his B.A. from Villanova University in 2009. Before attending Villanova, he played collegiate basketball at Drew University.
